My reading for today was from Luke 2, Numbers 23-24 and Psalm 35. Luke 2 was about Jesus life from birth to a young boy of 12. Numbers 23-24 was about Balak trying to work against God’s plan for His people. Psalm 35 was about David’s plea for God’s help of intervention. I learned that God’s plans are not like our plans and His plans will be carried out regardless of how we try to interrupt them.
I continued my reading in Exodus (Chapters 30-34). God’s detailing of acceptable worship by His children continued. What captivated me today, though, was Moses’ appearance after he had been with God so long…the skin on his face was shining! And, not an oily skin type of shine; but, an actual radiation to the point of causing a reverent fear of the people. God’s aura is so profound and shines so brightly, that it illuminated the one consistently in His company both day and night.
My takeaway: Do I look like I’ve been in God’s company?
