1) We should strive to be humble, and be careful not to think to much of ourselves.
2) The judgement that we use to judge others, will be the same judgment that will be used to judge us.
3) while we are criticizing others, we should be taking a close look at ourselves.
I concluded my reading of Genesis (chapters 48-50). I had not paid attention before to the layout of Chapter 49, so i found that pretty interesting. Another thing I found was that it was Joseph that said “ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good” (50:20), which was fitting as that was one of the takeaways I gave to summarize his life several chapters back.
Lastly, my takeaway: Don’t stop being the you that God can use. He will bless you beyond measure if you just stay usable in every situation, even when the situation seems to not be in your favor.
